We are a dedicated team of vets and nurses, providing compassionate care for your pets, horses and farm animals. We provide a 24 hour service. Our team of five dedicated and experienced equine-only vets provide 24h care for horses, ponies and donkeys in Northumberland and beyond.
We aim to provide a comprehensive, professional and personal veterinary service for your horse. We strive for excellence in clinical practice, use state of the art diagnostics and treatment, and are committed to the ongoing education of vets, nurses, reception staff, students and clients.
We offer all aspects of routine and emergency healthcare both on visits and at the surgery, and are aided by digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, gastroscopy, motorised dental equipment, telemetry ECG, overground endoscopy, laser surgery and a hard working team of veterinary nurses.
We treat a huge variety of cases such as:
- lameness
- colic
- dental disease
- eye and skin cases
- respiratory disease and reproductive disorders
- and tailor treatments to the individual horse and situation.
We can provide modern therapeutics such as shockwave therapy, stem cell therapy, platelet rich plasma and IRAP, and in addition we have access to consultant veterinary surgeons, allowing us to treat and operate on a more extensive range of cases at our own facilities.
