About:

Froglands Stud Farm, based in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, is a purpose built racehorse yard borne from a derelict farm. Sat in the picturesque village of Cleeve Prior, in 150acres, and situated close to Stratford-On-Avon racecourse. Lady trainer, Claire Dyson, runs the yard.

Claire and her team; Team Dyson, are committed to the successful training of both Flat and National Hunt Racehorses. Claire is herself a successful jockey and has won several races.

The facilities at Froglands are second to none, with equine massage equipment, Zamar heat treatment and Claydon walker to name but a few. The farm also boasts a woodchip 5 1/2 furlong uphill gallop and both flat and uphill grass gallops amongst its acreage. A success of these facilities is Tanners Court, bought as a foal by Claire. He is big, bold and brave and has delighted and excited Claire in both her ownership and training of him.

From flat horses through stalls to national hunt horses jumping steeplechase fences, individual treatment and attention to detail is guaranteed at Froglands.

Claire began riding at the age of 2yrs old and has been successful riding winners in showing, show jumping, point-to-point and under national hunt rules. Claire followed in her father, John's footsteps in to the exciting world of horse racing. She gained invaluable experience with David Tatlow and Tony Carroll and boasts a 100% strike rate riding for Dick Baimbridge. Claire rode several point-to-point winners whilst riding against Polly Curling and Alison Dare. She was successfully granted a permit in 1995 and owned and trained several winners before gaining a dual trainer's license in August 2007.

Claire is now fully committed and concentrated on building a successful racing yard.
