About:

Newbold Verdon Equestrian Centre is a family run competition venue and British Horse Society approved Livery Yard. A variety of different events are held through-out the year including Dressage, Show Jumping and training clinics. Livery facilities include loose boxes & American Barn stabling, an international sized menage and well managed all-year-round grazing surrounding the yard. The centre is ran by Mrs Sally Bates (BHSAI) and her husband Martin who live on the premises and offer a high standard of care to livery clients and their horses as well as numerous excellent competitions and events. Stables: Large, light and airy brick built stables; yard facing and American barn type. Wide passageways between boxes with plenty of tying up room. Solid brick walls between stables so that each horse can have privacy from other horses when required. Horses are checked last thing at night and fed if required. Menage: We are very proud of our 60m x 30m ménage suitable for riding in all weathers. It is floodlit by 6 powerful lights which run off a meter taking £1 coins. There is enough room to set up a full show jumping course if you wish, and jumps are placed around the school for your use. The school is available for private hire by arrangement. Outside instructors must provide insurance details, or be a currently registered instructor with BHS. Grazing and Off Road Riding: We have over 100 acres available for off road riding, a large flat field suitable for fast work, and a number of quite steep fields for getting horses fit. Horses are kept in small compatible groups to cut down on kicking. Mares and geldings are always kept well away from each other. Self filling water troughs are available in each paddock. During the summer horses can be turned out night and day. We pride ourselves in offering various types of livery package to suit both the requirements of you & your horse.
