About:

Richard Chapman Equestrian is situated at Manor Farm in the village of Longney, 6 miles South West of Gloucester in the Severn Vale. We provide DIY livery with an indoor and an outdoor arena, a 2.5km cross country course, (which includes a 3 point entry water jump, step jump, ditch and an eclectic mix of cross country fences), and extensive riding over 400 acres of beautiful Gloucestershire farmland. Stables: Our conventional farm buildings boast light spacious stables of all types and sizes at Manor Farm. We have American barn stables, traditional box style stables, and open fronted stables with accompanying forecourts. All the stables are fitted with automatic water drinkers and offered with home produced hay and straw as part of the full livery price. Turn Out: The 400 acres of surrounding farmland provide individual or shared paddocks according to your preference and availability, and all year round grazing is available except in extremely wet conditions. Outside yards have also been built for alternative turn out when the weather is bad. Other Facilities: The farm has been converted to offer all the facilities required to make your DIY livery as easy as possible. A fully equipped indoor arena fitted with mirrors and a judging / viewing bay, an outdoor arena, washing down hoses, a tea room, and three toilets and a shower room are available for your use. Cross Country Course: Our cross country course is 2.5 kilometres long with a large variety of jumps from 2'3 to 3'3 high. There are also several practice paddocks situated at different places near the course with a further array of jumps of different styles and heights. All the jumps at Manor Farm have been carefully designed and built by Richard Chapman.
