About:

In 2005 I graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) Animal Health degree. In 2009 I qualified as a McTimoney Animal Manipulator with a Masters Degree verified by the University of Wales.

Since 2011 I have been working with David Prydie MRCVS and Isobel Foden ACPAT Physiotherapist from PhysioVet. This dedicated rehabilitation and physiotherapy clinic specialising in Canine Sports Medicine. We work to support the vet in practice and offer a range of treatments from post operation therapy, to the chronic arthritic patient, to weight management and fitness.

Alongside McTimoney I am a qualified Equine Sports Massage Therapist, obtaining the Equine Body Worker (EBW) certification from Equinenergy. This popular, effective therapy can be used separately or alongside McTimoney Animal Manipulation.

Horses did not evolve specifically to carry weights on their backs, and modern competition places even more strain upon their skeletal structure. Musculoskeletal problems may be caused by an accident or a single event (acute injury) or by a problem that has been present and worsened over time (chronic injury).
