About:

Laura’s interest in animals began at an early age. From her first taste of horses aged 3, her enthusiasm led her to obtain a BSc (Hons) Zoology from Cardiff University. Following graduation, she took some time to travel, covering the length and breadth of Central and South America working on various conservation projects in Honduras, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. The horses at home led her back to the UK.

Having experienced the benefits of McTimoney treatment first hand this inspired her to embark on the 3 year Masters Degree programme at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in conjunction with the University of Wales. Whilst studying, Laura worked as a freelance groom gaining valuable experience and awareness of the various musculoskeletal issues that can affect an animal’s performance.

The majority of her time was spent helping with the education of young horses and caring for competition horses, which provided an invaluable insight into the subtle clues that indicate a horse’s need for physical therapy.
