About:

I have been involved with horses since childhood, eventually going off to university to study a HND in Equine Science at Brackenhurst College and then went onto train to be a Veterinary Nurse.

I have been working within the veterinary industry for the last 14 years. To develop career opportunities and further my skills I trained at the Oxford College of Equine Physical Therapy from where I obtained a Diploma in McTimoney-Corley Animal Manipulation - Dip. MCAM and a Diploma in McTimoney-Corley Spinal Therapy Dip. MCST.

Upon completion of the equine course and having working with horses for a while I realised horses were often misaligned because their riders were. In 2011 I joined Derby Triathlon Club and spent a great deal of time watching how other athletes functioned and trained, which lead me onto deciding to become a MET therapist and Swedish Masseur, so I was able to offer a wider range of treatment options.

McTimoney Corley Spinal Therapy is a method of restoring health by gentle corrective manipulation of the bones of the head, spinal column, pelvis and limbs, thereby ensuring the proper functioning of the nerves and endocrine systems which control the natural self-healing capability of the body.

MET is a direct and active technique used to help a patient get past a restrictive barrier within their muscular system. The aim is to increase range of movement throughout the body.
