About:

Noel Chance is one of the leading trainers of National Hunt horses, having trained two winners of the Cheltenham Gold Cup during his thirteen years here, namely Mr Mulligan in 1997 and Looks Like Trouble in 2000.

In July 2008 we moved to Upshire House which comprises 35 modern stables in 3 separate yards with a walker, lunge area, trotting ring and excellent turn out facilities. We have retained easy access to the superb downland turf, all-weather gallops and beautifully maintained schooling grounds at Mandown, and it is from this new base that Noel leads a team of experienced staff, all dedicated to the welfare and success of the horses in their care.

Lambourn is well known as a major centre for racehorse training, particularly National Hunt horses, and is also home to a world-renowned equine hospital and several other excellent veterinary practices, farriers and therapists.

Located in central, Southern England it is an ideal base from which to send runners anywhere in the UK, with local racecourses such as Newbury, Ascot, Sandown & Kempton being not too far way.
