The benefits of massage include increased range of motion, enhanced performance, increased circulation, relieving muscle spasm and tension, whilst increasing muscle tone. Animals, like people, respond to physiotherapy. The purpose of physiotherapy is to restore and maintain mobility, function, independence and performance.

Sue Palmer is a member of The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT) working in Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire. As an ACPAT member I am a fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapist (MCSP) having trained in physiotherapy and rehabilitation for animals.
