About:

Situated in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside Manor Farm Livery offers fantastic off road hacking, with direct access to Salisbury Plain. If you want to stay closer to home then the on farm hacking is also good. We have a 20x40 outdoor floodlit menage with an all weather sand and rubber surface. Use of the menage and the set of plastic poly jumps is included in the livery fees. We have a range of liveries from D.I.Y. to full, and ad hoc livery work can be entered into the work diary as and when it is needed. There is a small cross country course on the farm which is free for liveries to use. It ranges from 2'3'' to 2'9'' and includes logs, tyres, ski jump, rails, trough, barrels, and much more. Hay, straw, and haylage deliveries are made to the yard every Sunday morning, and orders can be placed at the yard each Saturday prior to delivery. Hard feed, lessons, vet visits, farriers, dentist, chiropracter, physio, saddle fitting is all by individual arrangement, but the white board in the coffee room is a good place to leave a message to see if anyone can recommend a contact or wants to share the cost of a call out. All horses at the yard are kept on the same worming programme, and on arrival new horses must be wormed and kept stabled for 48 hours. Every livery has a dedicated rug pole in the heated rug room, used to dry out wet and muddy winter rugs. 3 large communal feed sheds are divided into pallet spaces for customers to store their feed, and equipment. The yard has a fun and welcoming atmosphere. In the summer when the weather is good we often have yard BBQ's and during the winter trips out to talks and demonstrations are regularly organized.
