About:

Aged 8, I badgered my parents into letting me have my 1st riding lessons - big mistake! A few years, and many show ponies and jumping ponies later, they were running their own riding school (Pennoak, Hammersley Lane, Penn) and allowing me to give free rein to my competing and teaching passions. Aged 17 I took a short course at Porlock Equestrian Centre and gained my BHSAI.

Continued training with Kate Hamilton FBHS set me up to pass my BHSII, aged 19. Since then I have continually updated my training with various trainers and examiners. My competitive career has included eventing to Intermediate level, dressage to Advanced, show jumping to Foxhunter, showing to county workers, and Riding Club to National level. I now compete my own horse, Fantasmic, at British Dressage Advanced Medium and would love to go Advanced again.

I offer friendly coaching for all riders on the flat, show jumping and cross country and, of course, stable management. I specialise in dressage from unaffiliated to British Dressage Advanced Medium. I also love to teach Pony Club riders from E to A Test. I regularly coach event riders from unaffiliated to British Eventing Intermediate and some riders who never want to compete but still wish to improve.

As a British Dressage competitor, British Dressage Trainer and trainee dressage judge I understand the joys of competition and the pressure of nerves. I love helping people to be at one with their horse and enjoy every ride!
