About:

I am happy to teach a whole range of riders, from the absolute beginner to the experienced competition rider, and I can help you to progress, whatever your level.

I am a Prix St Georges level dressage rider and a British Dressage Trainee Judge and can therefore approach training from both a rider and a judge's point of view. Riding is about communication with your horse and I can help you to help your horse understand what is required.

A horse that understands its boundaries and its rider's requirements is a happy horse, and a happy horse is a much nicer horse to ride - whether you choose to do dressage, jumping or hacking. I can help with groundwork, stable management and flatwork, to help you get the most out of your relationship with your horse.

All lessons are on your horse or pony at your yard and are positive, encouraging and constructive. I will help you work on your position and your aids, in order to improve communication between you and your horse. I am a British Dressage registered trainer, a British Horse Society qualified and registered freelance instructor, a UKCC level 2 coach and a Trainee Judge.

I am insured, CRB checked, and have undertaken child protection training. As a registered BHS instructor, I attend bi-yearly First Aid updates and regular professional development days.
