Welcome to Sandpitt Forge, where we offer expert farriery services to clients across Worcester, Gloucester, Warwickshire, Wolverhampton and the rest of Central England.

Our experienced farriers are able to treat all manner of ailments and problems – we often work with horses that have been referred to us by vets and farriers. We utilise the most up-to-date materials and facilities to ensure our farriery work is of the highest standard.

Our farriers work with horses in all disciplines too, from riding ponies to competition horses (show jumpers, dressage, endurance, driving and eventers). The team here at Sandpitt Forge offers a wealth of experience - our head farrier Kelvin has been shoeing horses for almost 30 years now – and we pride ourselves on delivering a professional, friendly and reliable service. We are registered with the Farriers Registration Council, the organisation responsible for ensuring the highest standards in equine foot welfare.

Our corrective shoeing service will be a tremendous help to your horse or pony. We tailor make shoes to your horse or pony’s individual requirements, which could be to combat lameness in one of the legs, or poor movement caused by a tendon injury etc.
